This issue of CDK publishes several articles discussing various infectious issues, including two on COVID-19, a disease that has captured the attention and energy of all levels of health, while reminding us of the importance of maintaining healthy behaviors at all times. However, vigilance against COVID-19 should not diminish attention to other infectious diseases and pulmonary diseases, as discussed in this issue.
Several articles on drug therapy should also serve as a refresher that inappropriate use of drugs risks adverse effects, as discussed in two case reports in this issue, complemented by the results of a systematic review of pneumonia therapy.
